MedBank

MedBank is the North Georgia Health District's effort to secure prescription drugs for local eligible residents from the patient assistance program through pharmaceutical companies. (Click on an application link below to view eligibility requirements.)

There are two MedBank locations in North Georgia:

Whitfield County Health Department, 800 Professional Blvd., Dalton, GA, 30720: MedBank has served over 6,000 clients in Whitfield County since May 2003 and has collaborated with 140 local physicians to assist with nearly $100 million in medications for residents.

Murray County Health Department, 709 Old Dalton-Ellijay Rd., Chatsworth, GA 30705: Medbank in Murray County has served more than 1,800 people, saving these residents well over $33 million in medications.

MedBank Services:

MedBank Services include completing the application to obtain available medications, labeling and dispensing medications when approved (including automatic refills), and renewals.

When coming to MedBank, please bring the following:

• Proof of your current monthly household income - this could be a recent pay stub or other document that shows your current monthly household income.
• Your most recent Federal Tax Income forms.

Drug companies are required to determine a client's eligibility for these services based on these documents.

Payment Information

MedBank Services in Whitfield County are $180.00 per year no matter how many medications you are receiving - this service fee may be paid in $15 monthly payments.

The MedBank service fee in Murray County is $10 per month.
