Cherokee and Murray County Health Departments Will Delay Opening to 10 AM on Tuesday
North GA – The Cherokee and Murray County Health Departments will delay opening until 10 AM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, due to inclement weather.
It was announced earlier this evening that the North Georgia Health District office and the Fannin, Gilmer, Pickens, and Whitfield County Health Departments will also delay opening until 10 AM on Tuesday.
All public health services in these counties, including Environmental Health and WIC, will delay opening until 10 AM on Tuesday.

North GA - We will be CLOSED on Monday, January 15, 2024, for the national observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The North Georgia Health District offices, health departments, environmental health offices, WIC program, and all other public health programs and services in Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens, and Whitfield counties will be closed in respectful honor of this day. We look forward to resuming our services to the public on Tuesday, January 16th.
